"Sure, but how does it look?"
We wondered ourselves, so we produced this video to show how versitile the Yummie Tummie tank is. By itself, with two, under a blouse or Tee, even under a vest. Click the image to see a collection of fashion looks you can make yourself with your Yummie Tummie.

Yummie Tummie - As Seen On Oprah
Yummie Tummie is the hottest thing to hit the lingerie industry since...well, probably since Eve grabbed a fig leaf. From Entertainment Tonight and the Today Show to Women's Wear Daily and fashion bloggers everywhere, the buzz about this line of shapers is that it's unlike all that have come before.
The brainchild of Heather Thompson, fashion industry veteran, co-creative director for Tina and Beyonce Knowles' House of Dereon, and former Creative VP of Jennifer Lopez' Sweetface brand, Yummie Tummie tanks, camisoles, and T-shirts are constructed with a 'secret' midsection panel that shapes and slims. We’re not sure why she named it Yummie Tummie instead of Yummy Tummy, but either way, it works.
The soft cotton knit bust and hip panels look just like a regular tank or shirt--no more advertising that you're wearing shapewear or hiding under layers. All styles are long--no more roll up. Each piece is long enough to be comfortable tucked in to almost any style waist band, no matter the rise. Or, leave it untucked. The shirt-like bottom can peek out of a sweater or jacket without looking like our underwear's showing.
According to reviews, Yummie Tummie really does slim and does it without feeling like a straight jacket. The microfiber control panel is smooth, non-clingy and moisture-wicking and it shapes from just under the bustline through the whole torso. No unexpected lumps or bumps--just a slimmer, smoother silhouette for women of all shapes and sizes. Under shirts, jackets, sweaters or dresses, your look no longer announces “I’m wearing shapewear.”
The Yummie Tummie TK1000 tank and Freedom T Tank are available in an extra long length, adding an additional 3 inches of length, shaping down to your hips. It’s great for taller women and those who like the layered look. The Freedom T Tank TK1007 features a built-in shelf bra, so you can skip the bra too.
Just added to the line are the Yummie Tummie Basic crew neck and v-neck shirts. As far as the rest of the world knows, you're just wearing a really great t-shirt. But you'll see and feel the difference. The strappy T camisole is a dressed-up version of the original tank. Thinner straps and satin trim along the neckline make a pretty fashion statement.
It's clear the Yummie Tummie line was not meant to be hidden away under your clothes given some of the colors available, including chocolate, navy, pale pink, and red as well as nude, ivory, white and black.
For those of us (and that’s probably almost all of us) who could use a little help with thickening waists or some belly bulge, Heather Thomson has come up with an eminently wearable solution that wins on all counts—comfort, control and style. |
