Glamorise Foundations, Inc. was founded in 1921 on the premise that full-figured women were not served well in the world of lingerie — and as such needed a company focused on their needs.Â
When Len Rosner took over the family business, that’s where things began to blossom. In 1925, the first patents for a bra and corset were granted. In 1951, the Adjust-Eze girdle was featured in Life Magazine. The revolutionary, patented girdle design allowed one to adjust their waistline for a custom fit.Â
In 1970, the first US patent for the MagicLift bra was given to Glamorise. This collection is still the industry leader in soft cup bras and is known for the crisscross center fronts that uplift and support the fuller bust.
Glamorise delights in being a classic in the lingerie world while growing along with the fashion and trends of tomorrow. The company proudly designs its products, sources all its materials, and manufactures all of its own products.Â
The brand has now expanded its collections to include full-figure, underwire, wireless, longline, strapless, and minimizer styles. Whether you choose a regular bra or a sports bra, Glamorise is sure to come with a wider stretch strap with front closures or supportive back closures and other reliable features.
Customers are very happy with the general support and comfort of Glamorise products. One client said she had the hardest time finding a bra that wouldn't poke her, fall down, or fail her throughout the day. But when she bought a Glamorise product, she knew her search had ended. She said that even after sitting for ten hours of work, she still felt supported and did not have to pull up her straps at all. Indeed, Glamorise’s regular and sports bras are perfectly suitable for women with unique support needs.
At HerRoom, you’ll find many of Glamorise’s lingerie collections.Â
One is the Complete Comfort collection, which includes soft, comfortable leisure bras that are perfect for weekends and time off.Â
The Glamorise Magic Lift collection, meanwhile, features bras in both wireless and special Wonderwire styles, with the latter having a hidden underwire and a fiberfill cushioned band that never touches the body. Magic Lift bras also support up to sizes 50H with features such as cotton-lined cups and moisture management.Â
There’s also the Glamorise Sports Bra collection, which features seamless MagicLift non-stretch cups and performance fabrics that wick moisture away from the skin.Â
Indeed, it’s easy to feel glamorous and supported when wearing Glamorise lingerie. All of the collections are designed to lift and support in different ways, making the brand inherently popular around the world.
First, you need to find your band size by measuring the area around your breast. Next, you need to get your cup size by measuring the fullest part of your bust. For every inch your bust is greater than your band size, add one cup size. For example, if your bust is 2 inches more than your band size, you’ll likely need a B cup, if your bust is 3 inches more it means a C cup, and so on.
If you know your size in another brand, you can get your Glamorise size quickly (and accurately) just by using our Universal Cup Sizing™ system.
Yes. Sports bras usually fit snug, so you shouldn’t size down as it will make it harder to breathe comfortably. Likewise, you shouldn’t size up as you won’t get the right support with a loose bra.
Glamorise’s full-figure styles are designed for women with larger breasts and plus-sized women. Designed to carry larger cup and brand sizes, they provide more support compared to other bra styles.
